The writer ells the story with great amount of details and exaggerated pleasant experience while pointing out the shortcomings, shortcomings that passengers would not care about, this tell me that the “passenger” was in one of the three groups above mentioned. It was a good story though.

However, we have found a very high amount of calcium in the water (it calcifies almost everything) and use a Brita filter for tap water as well as often changing the filter in the refrigerator for “water in the door”. Bottle water is not a necessity in Palm Springs but many do prefer it.
